The wintertime weather!  While mountain riders are going crazy with cabin fever counting the days till the trails thaw out there are hundreds of miles of dry singletrack available for bikers to rip around the desert in shorts and a T-shirt.  Most mountain bikers that have ventured to the Arizona sonoran desert have likely heard of McDowell but there is so much more riding available.  The sonoran desert is beautiful.  Unique saguaros, springtime wildflowers and green grass blanketing the desert are an awesome site to pedal through.
